Independence Day Parade
The Chappell Hill Independence Day Parade is held each summer down Main St. The parade is organized and presented by the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce and features the famous Marching Kazoo Band. It begins at 10 a.m.

The Chappell Hill Historical Society will once again host the Summer Cowboy Event. The Rocking T Chuck wagon, Cowboy Bob, pony rides, petting zoo, oxen demonstrations and a food and beverage vendor will be featured this year and will take place on the Fourth of July. All activities and exhibits are free. It will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The exhibit gallery will offer the major exhibit "The Life and Legend of V.T. 'Cowboy' Williams." New this year is the Travis and Linda Cook Collection of cowboy bronze art. The gallery will continue to offer free children’s activities; for example: knot tying, roping a steer, horseshoe pitching, using branding irons, “cow chip” tossing, and "Buttercup" the pony. The exhibit will be on display June 29- July 24th.
